Holika Holika Plumping Heart Lifting Cream

After experiencing the wonderful effects of the Holika Plumping V-Line Mask (be still my excited beating heart), I found myself sharking around Wisma Atria on a lazy Monday evening breezing into the Holicka Holicka store to purchase this Holika Holika Plumping Heart Lifting Cream.

A cream that keeps skin moisturized with Sweet Almond extracts, this little pink pot of marvel also firms skin with marine collagen plus it also contains the magic slimming ingredient Ovaliss to reduce a visible double chin for a shapelier V-line face.

This pink jar smells eerily similar to that applelish berry smelling Paris Hilton perfume. Texture wise, I would like to call this a “memory” cream as I seem to have developed this bizarre habit of poking it and watching it reform itself to its original state slowly. Does feel a bit rubbery when I scoop it up with the spatula provided but it melts into skin almost immediately upon contact. The trick to using this is to massage the cream in with circular motions followed by gliding your palms from chin to ear in an upward V motion to aid the lifting process. As for its effects, I have included a picture of yours truly sporting a rather V looking face thanks to this. However, I would rate this as a basic level moisturizer as I noticed my face does feel a little dry around midday when I use this. (See pic below)

Verdict: Dries to a matte finish without an oily sheen, this V line moisturizer is great for cheating and eliminating slight visible double chins. I’m definitely postponing that face-lift for now since I’ve got this in my beauty arsenal. Great for its lifting and slimming properties but not so if you are seeking something richer in hydration.

Holika Holika Plumping Heart V Line Mask

Quick review as I am typing this in total excitement! Holika Holika’s Plumping Heart V Line Mask is pure witchcraft I tell you. I was giving a piece to try by Cheryl Eonnie to try and since then the secret hawking of this mask sheet began.

With ingredients such as caffeine, capsaicin and backed by OVALISS technology (oval liss! Sounds so promising indeed!), this elastic hydro gel mask adheres to the chin to redefine and slim the facial contours! Attached is a picture of how the mask looks.

Being genetically blessed with a round face, the skeptical me placed this mask over my chin and left it there for 30 mins. (I used Tony Moly’s Acerola Mask on my face with this on my chin). The mask itself was pretty rich in serum and adhered itself well onto my saggy jowls. Wait; is that my chin I see? I jumped with excitement 30 mins later. How do I describe this? My jaw line went from an O to a firmer U! OVALISS indeed! No stinging or outbreaks along the jaw line either with this mask. Skin also somehow felt firmer with the use of this magical item.

Verdict: No broomstick, pointy hat nor hocus pocus required for instantly slimming down a round face. Its spell lasted me a good 3 days on me before wearing off. A must have item when you feel a little down in the face.
