I rather like this M.A.C Studio Fix Plus Foundation. Definitely my go to choice of coverage whenever the sun’s too hot and I’m lazy to pile on B.B creams only to have myself wipe them off later.
A powder foundation packaged in a slick black compact. Studio Fix will leave skin matte, smooth and flawless for up to eight hours.
I usually apply this with a large powder brush after my SPF lotion. No horrible feeling of dryness with this, it applies pretty smoothly onto the skin. Great for oily skins, this powder foundation did leave skin feeling matte and smooth. Passed the sweat test as well, no streaks (phew) neither did it oxidize and float above skin when I was commuting to work. Whenever I desire a more heavier coverage, I would apply this with the sponge provided for full on coverage. Studio Fix lasted for around 4 hours before oxidizing but then again I was in an oily skin phase when I tried this on its maiden outing from the box. Do not let this come in contact with water Groomies as it is meant to be used dry.
Verdict: Excellent coverage, easy application and lasts like a dream. Recommended for Groomies who need coverage and oil control in a compact.
