I am fessing up, the reason why I bought this My Beauty Diary Arbutin Whitening Mask was due to the big word ARBUTIN that was plastered over the front. As I have been in a no BB cream phase this week, I decided to purchase this on a whim thinking it could perhaps give me brighter skin and eradicate some dullness along the way.
With grapefruit extracts and Arbutin (the whitening agent), this mask will lighten up skin complexion and eradicate dullness deep within the skin layers in just 30 minutes.
This mask seems to be drench and I do mean DRENCHED in serum. While I am not really a size queen, I do feel the paper quality is thinner then the past but it adheres better upon contact to my face. Word of caution, this does sting a little if you have slightly sensitive skin during the first few minutes of contact. But it does a great job in lightening the skin (visible right after removing the mask). Does give skin that QQ bounce plus it smells so soothing, I actually found myself finding it hard to stay awake. I do consider “me so lucky” as this is one of the rare few whitening masks that did not give me an outbreak but soft, luminous and hydrated skin.
Verdict: Great for fading out old acne scars and pigmentation while giving skin great hydration and brightening effects.
