I have been buttering myself liberally with this Nivea Body UV Whitening Serum SPF 22 as the weather has been somewhat cooler then usual and it’s a perfect time to whiten up those body parts for Christmas (I’ve always played with that fantasy of chestnuts roasting by the open fire and me fair as snow beaming in the warmth).
A 14 day intensive body whitening serum with SPF 22, it penetrates deeply into the skin cells to repair deeply accumulated sun damage and skin dullness. Containing Soy Protein Peptides and Vitamin C, this lightweight serum will promote an even skintone that is fair, light and radiant with its non-sticky formula.
Firstly, I like that it is lightweight but oh the smell of this is classic Nivea as it tends to turn up a little sourish smelling. On the first application I was pretty impressed straight away as the skin seemed to soak this up like a sponge and looks ever so dewy. It does preserve my current state tea coloured skintone but it does work as I noticed this does help lightened whatever sunspots I got to a lighter shade of brown. (Yes, they look like banana spots. Be warned, they show up more with age).
Verdict: Top marks and economically priced skin lightening serum. It’s a nice hybrid of a treatment and sun protection fluid in one. Great for reversing an ex-sunworshipper’s skin from tanned to beige (I won’t say fair unless you, my dear groomie is fair skinned to begin with).
