I never had much luck with Olay, the whitening range broke me out, the anti aging range left me with visible clogged pores but the S&M side of me decided to dive deep into this Olay Regenerist Eye Lifting Serum during another one of my random “shop-cursions” at Watsons.
An eye cream rich with concentrated amino-peptide + B3 complex, it claims to hydrate, lift and firm the eye area for smoother, brighter and dewy soft peepers.
Hmmm, it is a velvety golden serum, has no scent but feels extremely smooth (read as silicony) as I glide it alone the orbital (okay, the eye area for those who think I sound a lil hoity toity) area. It does moisturize well as I noticed some fine lines do look filled up after tapping this on (do this motion with love groomies…your eyes are not blackberry keypads). Does take a while to be absorbed, but not too bad in the performance department for a drugstore brand as I particularly like this eye serum for its ability to brighten the eye area almost instantaneously (It does contain illuminating particles to reflect light (its effects are similar to the maryluminizor). Truth to be told, Olay did exceed my expectations for this product.
Verdict: A slightly above average eye serum for eyes. Recommended for Groomies who need a quick “optical illusion” fix for lines and dark circles. Do exercise caution with this one as a too much of it tends to result in milia seeds. Just use a small pinhead size of this serum for each eye and you’ll be aye okay.
