Pantene CLINICARE Hair Time Renewal Shampoo

27 Jul

My hair seems to be a tad bitchy due to the extreme heat lately. Very dry, very brittle and barb wire like. Salvation comes in a bottle Pantene CLINICARE Hair Time Renewal Shampoo.

A joint effort by the two powerhouses in haircare, Pantene and Wella have created this shampoo to address and reverse accumulated damage due to chemical processing and styling by reviving shine and strength back into the hair with an infusion of patented hair loving goodies (Okay, I could not decipher the ingredients list because the words are in Japanese.)

Let’s start with the smell…and it smells amazingly like a high end salon treat ( I would describe this as a marshmellowish vanilla candy kind of smell! Do pop by for an illegal whiff). Milky colored and pearlescent, this does lather up pretty foamy and cleanses well ( it removes hair wax without the need to double cleanse) without any hints of that squeaky zig zig feeling. On lazy days where I am skipping conditioner all together, I just lather up this and leave it in while I wash my Bodeh Bodeh and hair does feel moisturized after this. Now dun qoute me on this trick as I can see myself being flamed here.I initially had a problem with this shampoo as I felt a film coating my lucious locks, but funny upon drying this film seems to prevent any tangles while leaving hair oh so smooth. It’s priced a little bit higher then regular pantene shampoos but the results? Fan-freaking-tastic.

Verdict: it’s salon quality for the budget friendly groomie. Great for defrizzing and softening manes that have been tangled and uptight for too long!
