Paul & Joe Moisturizing Serum

26 Oct

Ellos! Look at what I found deep in the drawers of desire last week during my week of overzealous deep cleansing (well, I had to get all that military dirt lodged in my pores out somehow), a bottle of Paul & Joe Moisturizing Serum. Definitely a timely find, as I do admit I do feel kind of dried and stretched out like pigskin on a rugby ball.

A rich serum that contains botanical ingredients, it improves firmness, suppleness and softness of the skin surface. Besides offering intensive hydrating benefits, it also even out skin tone and texture while imparting an antioxidant effect on the skin surface.

Simple yet luxuriously packaged in a nice ceramic beige bottle that is adorned with flowers on the rim. It fits nicely in the palms of my hands and looks oh so cute on the dressing table. On the first whiff, this white gel-crème serum smells citrusy (apparently, there is grapefruit extract in it) and gives a very good slip which is ideal for massaging it into the skin without tugging it (well, things aren’t that firm as they used to be.) Great as a day prep before layering BB cream or sunblock on, this delicate serum is great for softening skin and giving it a good radiance once it settles in. I do recommending sticking to the 2-pump rule for this one as too much of a good thing does leave a visible oily sheen on the face. Ideal for day, it kept skin from feeling taut and tight in the harsh cold office air-conditioning.

Verdict: Luxuriously packaged, plus it looks good on the dresser (yes, I am a sucker for good packaging), smells of rich essential orangey oils and leaves skin looking soft, dewy and radiance.
