I’ve always tried to shed my tall, dark and handsome (I wish) look. Its true I hold on to a tan longer and with a bit of bronzer I could pass off as someone who spends his time sipping cosmopolitans and martinis by the beach at Café De Mar. But like the old saying goes, the grass is greener on the other side hence I decided to incorporate (oooh big words) Hakubi White C into my whitening regime.
With L-Cysteine (an amino acid for muscles and skin) and Vitamin C to aid whitening. Hakubi White C also has Vitamin B6 to aid in the regeneration of skin and keep it in a flawless condition while preventing freckles and pigmentation from occurring. All it takes is 2 pills, taken 3 times daily for fairer and clearer skin.
I have no vague idea how it works but I have been a little naughty by taking it twice daily instead of the suggested three times a day dosage. Well imagine my surprise as my once tanned legs and arms started turning from coffee to tea a month later. Side effects wise, I did feel a sore throat come up during the first week when I was on this but perhaps it was just my body adjusting to this supplement. Well, I feel that this works better in whitening the body in general but face wise, a separate product is more advisable. However, If you are a victim of “stress spots or a member of the every week I have a new zit crew”. Well I am pleased to report this somehow reduced my occasional 6 spots of death to the occasional spot now and then.
Verdict: More of an acne prevention supplement for me, this works better as an overall brightening supplement for the body. I do advice pregnant mothers and those with asthma or gastric problems to stay away from this though as L-Cysteine does aggravate such conditions.
