A few months back, I was trying to inject radiance back into my freshly charred skin (It is hardly feasible to apply sunblock when you are in a forest training to protect your nation during the annual reservist training) and decided to do so with Silk Whitia’s Anti-Oxidation masks.
I started thinking about doing the dishes while lying down with this mask. Bizarre indeed! The mask has a strong lemonish scent that reminded me of dish washing detergent. Being the size queen I am, the mask was too small and did not fit my face well. Everything was covered except my forehead, which I took the liberty to apply the excess serum on.
A good 20 minutes later, I peeled off the mask and headed to wash the remaining serum off (stated in the box instructions.) Hmm, how do I describe this, there was a slight lightening of skintone and softness. But the weird thing was that my skin looked alive for once, like the blood circulation in the face was improved. Bravo!
Verdict: Good for kick starting a glow or whitening regime. Results are even more visible if used daily (I did), do remember to wash it off after 20 mins or risk looking like a pornstar drenched in serum or a leper when it dries and flakes off you.
