Neither a loose powder nor is it something that makes me a womanizer. Her name is MARY-LOU MANIZER, and she is a shimmering star I discovered at Sasa during my Touche Eclat withdrawal days (I love you YSL, please come back to Singapore soon).

A very soft champagne gold hued highlighter packaged in a mirrored compact (reminded me a little of Benefit), its texture is what I would describe as a soft and creamy (I was blown away by it coz it is a powder-based product) powder that adheres to skin quite nicely.
Mary-Lou is an absolute bliss to use. I always reach for this item during shoots to give the models (all right, I confess that I do use it on myself too) an illusion of a higher nose by sweeping a thin layer along the nose. Eyebrows are given that subtle “optical lift” when this is applied on the outer corners. I personally like to dot it along the inner corners of the eyes to weave an illusion of alertness (or to quote my bestie M who renamed this technique “the J.LO eyes”) whenever the eyes look a lil bleah and lackluster.
Verdict: Wonderful highlighter in my opinion. Mary should be renamed as “let there be light” or something equally incandescent. Recommended for groomies who love a lil “definition” and “enhancement”.
